My name is Christine, mother of two young children aged 5 and 1 and a half. Despite a journey fraught with obstacles, I have always sought to stay strong to offer a better future to my little ones. After obtaining my BEPC in 2019, I completed an apprenticeship in sewing for three years and obtained my diploma in 2022. But due to lack of financial means, I could not fulfill my dream of becoming an independent seamstress. To not give up, I started selling chili pepper to save money and open my own workshop. Today, I already have two sewing machines, but I need support to acquire additional equipment, especially for overcasting. My dream is also to help other women by selling sewing supplies and sharing my skills. I know that the path will be difficult, but I am determined to succeed and to show my children that nothing is impossible when you work hard and believe in your dreams.
